sound is very important if you are recording a news report this is because a news report good sound could define a good or bad news report news reports in reveberant areas would get alot of bad sound feedback examples of these are sports halls and stair wells. the clips are have all been edited on adobe audition. the sound was recorded using a boom and rifle in an outside environment the microphone was up high facing down this is effective to pick up sound but without the dead cat fur cover it would be exposed to wind
Mortal Kombat foley sound edit
today we edited mortal combat footage using foleys sound techniques. these techniques are shown by using every day items in this instance we used

Dead Space sound design
In this task we edited sound on to a clip from a game named dead space we started by downloading the zip file from we transfer. we then watch the footage on adobe audition and use the marker tool to time every footstep to make sure that the foot steps are synced.after this we added a whole host of sound effects including breathing an alarm and steam from pipes. we then exported the folder into premier pro. i then uploaded it to youtube.
SYNC AUDIO SOUND TASK

In this lesson we were given footage and sound which we had to sync up the footage with the sound.We did this by clicking the synchronise button then we had to export and upload two videos one of it synced up using the camera audio then another one using the microphone and seeing the difference between the audio.
The equipment used was goose neck microphone and, a camera and also a sound recorder. and used premier pro to sync it up.
the bad sound video the audio in it you can here is from the camera. Along with the sound of the people presenting when they talk you cant hear that much reverb but in comparison the sound is more reverberant . In the good sound video there is no reverb and the audio is as clear as ever. This is because the microphones are quite close to them but with the first video there is a bit of a distance from the people. Thats because the audio is coming from the camera and not coming from the microphone
